He portrayed Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives from the 1970s until the 1980s, and later returned to reprise the role. Aniston continued playing the character of Victor Kiriakis until 2022.

In June of 2022, Jennifer Aniston paid tribute to her father and his contributions at a ceremony held at the Pasadena Civic Center, despite his absence. She was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her notable contributions to the television industry.

During the event, she praised her father and remarked, “This is truly a momentous occasion for me. It is a chance not only to celebrate a true legend in the daytime television industry, but also to honor my father, a renowned and esteemed actor, for his lifetime achievements.”

She emphasized that his career was an accomplishment spanning decades, during which he devoted more than 30 years to the same show, earned the respect and admiration of his fellow actors, formed close bonds, and brought joy to millions of fans worldwide.
