Sylvester Stallone’s Harrowing “Rocky IV” Injury

During the filming of “Rocky IV,” Sylvester Stallone endured brutal blows from Dolph Lundgren, leading to hospitalization. In a documentary on Stallone’s YouTube channel, he recalls Lundgren “pulverizing” him. Initially painless, he later felt chest discomfort, likening it to a car crash. Despite sharing the ICU with nuns, he returned to finish the film, chest hit included.
