In an open and emotional conversation on her podcast, “Let’s Talk Off Camera,” Ripa revealed that her path into therapy was initiated by an apparently innocuous interaction with a friend at a bar mitzvah.
When a friend inquired about Ripa’s well-being and she started crying uncontrollably, it was the impetus behind her seeking professional assistance.
Ripa chuckled when she reflected on the event, saying, “I started sobbing, and I wasn’t entirely sure why.” Her friend saw that she needed help and quickly suggested seeing a therapist.
