A sign on the window of a Dairy Queen in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, has caught attention online. The sign highlights that the restaurant uses phrases like “Merry Christmas,” “Happy Easter,” and “God Bless America,” which some might find politically incorrect.
On Veterans Day, the restaurant offers free sundaes, displays the American flag, and thanks veterans for their service.
Owner Kevin Scheunemann explained that he put up the sign almost four years ago to make it clear that he and his staff are committed to their faith and patriotism.
The post quickly gained attention before being taken down. While some support the sign’s message, others criticized the person who shared it. Local business owners back Scheunemann’s decision, saying customers can choose to leave if they disagree with the restaurant’s values.
