At just 17, Molly faced life without a prom date and the fresh grief of losing her mother. Her estranged father, Danny, unexpectedly showed up at the funeral. Until then, Molly only knew Danny through child support payments and her mother Daisy’s harsh remarks.

They danced together, and his efforts touched every heart in the room. For the first time, Molly felt immense pride and love for her father. That night, Danny became a local hero.
