A Woman Was Shamed for Loose Skin but She Gave a Powerful Response to Haters and Showed What She Went Through

After a tremendous weight loss, Jacqueline Adan had around 30 pounds of excess skin. It took a toll on her both mentally and physically. However, at some point, she accepted herself and even started going to the beach. Her life continues to undergo significant positive changes.

Jacqueline has embraced her newfound body with confidence, and a significant moment in her journey occurred during a trip to Mexico. For the first time in years, she wore a bathing suit without the security of a cover-up. She admitted to feeling nervous about revealing herself by the pool or on the beach, as she still felt like the same person as before.

During this moment, however, when people around her began to make insensitive comments about her loose skin, a side effect of her remarkable weight loss, Jacqueline faced a choice. She could allow these comments to dampen her spirits, or she could persevere, as she had been doing throughout her journey.

“So what did I do? I took a deep breath, smiled and walked into the pool. That was a huge moment for me. I had changed. I was not the same girl anymore.”
