Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, one of Hollywood’s iconic couples, are leaving Los Angeles after two alarming break-ins at their home. Speaking on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, Hawn revealed that rising crime rates in L.A. pushed them to consider safer alternatives, such as Palm Desert.
She detailed the frightening incidents, including intruders breaching their property and even breaking through a secure door to steal valuables. Despite efforts to move on, a second burglary occurred just four months later, leaving Hawn deeply shaken and perpetually on edge.
These events, part of a wider trend of high-profile burglaries in 2024 affecting celebrities like King Bach and Corinna Kopf,
prompted the couple to rethink their future in L.A. Hawn expressed that the city’s allure no longer outweighed the risks, leading them to prioritize safety and peace of mind over its glamorous lifestyle.
