Elena and I were thrilled to become parents, but when our daughter
was born with pale skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair, I accused her
of infidelity. She explained it was due to a rare recessive
gene and pointed to a birthmark identical to mine.
My family doubted her, and tensions rose until a DNA test confirmed
the baby was ours. Some apologized, others didn’t, but I chose to stand
by my wife and child. My family might not be conventional, but it’s perfect to me.
