Sykes, who had been living in Los Angeles in recent years, was caught in the flames that consumed his home, according to a statement released by his mother Shelley Sykes.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of my beautiful son,” Ms Sykes wrote on Twitter, “I’m totally heart broken”.
