Jake, a single dad raising his two young daughters, was accustomed to starting his mornings early, preparing breakfast for Emma and Lily. But one morning, he was shocked to find pancakes with jam and fruit already set on the table. He assumed his sister, Sarah, had visited early, but a call to her revealed she had not.
