Mel Gibson slammed for sharing ‘insane’ conspiracy theory about LA fires after his mansion burns down

Mel Gibson, 69, faced backlash after discussing a controversial conspiracy theory about the Los Angeles wildfires, which destroyed his Malibu home.

Speaking on The Ingraham Angle, Gibson speculated about water management and possible intentional actions contributing to the fires, admitting his thoughts sounded “insane.”

Viewers criticized his claims on social media, with some calling them baseless and harmful. The wildfires, among the most destructive in U.S. history, have claimed at least 16 lives, left 13 missing, and caused extensive damage.

Authorities continue to issue safety warnings about water contamination, air quality, and ocean hazards as recovery costs are estimated at $150 billion
