Brian mocked his younger sister Linda when their grandmother Marlene left him her house and only gave Linda five rusty old clocks. Linda, however, was unaware of the treasure hidden inside those timepieces.

When Brian and Linda visited their grandmother, Brian couldn’t hide his sarcasm, taunting Linda about her academic life. Both had come to visit their ailing 90-year-old grandmother after she called them, requesting to see them urgently. Linda, a kind-hearted young woman,

was deeply worried about her grandmother’s health and emotional well-being. She had lived with Marlene, taking care of her, before moving to the city to pursue her degree, while Brian, though present, was more focused on his own gain.

When they arrived, they found Marlene bedridden and frail. Linda ran to her, offering love and reassurance, while Brian, indifferent, only complained about the dusty state of the house. Marlene, though weak, handed both.
