Known for his tenure at CNN and Fox News, Dobbs was a divisive figure, particularly because of his remarks regarding Barack Obama. Before switching to television in the middle of the 1970s and joining NBC’s King-TV in Seattle, Dobbs began his career at KBLU radio in Arizona.
He was one of CNN’s first reporters, hosting the business news program Moneyline in 1980.Due to controversy surrounding his coverage of illegal immigration, Dobbs departed CNN in 2009.
