Twelve-year-old Ava Ramirez had been missing for over 24 hours after sudden flash floods struck the campgrounds, sweeping her away in the middle of the night. What followed was a massive multi-agency search involving drones, airboats, helicopters—and one four-legged hero who would change everything.The torrential floods came without warning. Camp counselors rushed to evacuate children, but Ava was last seen being pulled under near the riverbank.
