Donald Trump dismissed questions about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein with a blunt six-word reply. The response came after new photos and videos surfaced, revealing more about their past connection.
Trump’s Previous Promises on Epstein Files
During his recent presidential campaign, Trump said he would have “no problem” releasing files tied to Epstein if elected. In February 2025, Attorney General Pamela Bondi released what was called the “first phase” of declassified Epstein documents. However, by July, Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) announced it found “no basis” to release any more files. The DOJ also confirmed there was “no incriminating client list” in the documents.
Speculation Grows as DOJ Halts Further Releases
The DOJ’s decision not to disclose more files sparked public speculation that Trump might be hiding information about Epstein. When reporters pressed him, Trump retorted, “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”
Although Trump later announced plans to release grand jury materials related to Epstein, he tried to end the conversation when asked about recently uncovered images from 1993.
