Mary Grace Westman was recognized for five years of service at Annunciation Catholic School in a 2021 Facebook post from the church. She is believed to have retired that same year, though her exact role at the school has not been specified. Police have not suggested that her employment was connected to her son’s motive, which remains unclear.
Robin Westman, who legally changed his name from Robert in 2020, arrived at the church armed with a r*fle, sh*tg*n, and p*stol.
