‘Masterchef Mexico’ Star, 38, Tragically Killed in Car Accident – Photos, Case Details and Her Brother’s Last Social Media Post

Yanin Campos, a beloved former MasterChef México contestant, has died at 38 after a tragic car accident in Chihuahua. Known for her passion for cooking and her career as a nurse, Yanin touched many lives both on and off the screen.

The crash happened on August 2, 2025, when her car hit a parked van in Chihuahua City. She was hospitalized for two days but passed away on August 4. Authorities are still investigating the cause.

Yanin appeared on MasterChef México in 2018 and returned for the “Rematch” season in 2019. Fans loved her warm personality and talent. She later hosted a local TV show and stayed active on social media and YouTube.

Her brother, Raúl, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, writing, “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my sister.” Friends and fans quickly filled the comments with messages of love.
