Jessica Tarlov, the outspoken liberal voice on Fox News’ The Five, is facing major backlash after a fiery on-air exchange with military veteran and co-host Joey Jones and it’s what she said in the heat of the moment that has viewers stunned.
During a panel discussion on gun control following this week’s tragic Minnesota church sh**ting, the conversation took a deeply personal turn and ended with Tarlov making a remark many fans are calling “disgusting” and “beyond the pale.”
“Now you’ve played the leg card”
As Joey Jones, a retired Marine Corps bomb technician who lost both legs in Afghanistan, made a passionate case against sweeping gun bans, Tarlov interrupted with a pointed question: “If your kid was one of that four percent, I think you’d be singing a different tune.”
“I’ll go to bed tonight and thank God on my knees that don’t exist anymore that my child is still alive,” Jones said, turning directly to the camera.
