Sometimes, cancer begins its work silently. It makes no noise, it doesn’t show itself obviously. Yet, certain small signs can already be warning signs.
Shortness of breath or wheezing : often associated with asthma or poor health, they can also be a sign of lung cancer.
Frequent infections or recurring fevers : some leukemias weaken the body’s defenses, making infections more frequent.
Persistent fatigue : a very general symptom, but when it is constant and unexplained, it is best to consult a doctor.
Feeling full quickly : feeling satiated after a few bites may be linked to ovarian cancer.
Difficulty swallowing : this can signal throat cancer, or even lung cancer.
Some signs are more concrete and visible, but are often attributed to a simple temporary imbalance.
Rectal bleeding or blood in the stool : a warning sign of colorectal cancer.
Swelling in the neck, armpits or groin : swollen lymph nodes may indicate a dysfunction of the lymphatic system.
Abnormal bruising or bleeding : sometimes due to a drop in platelets in certain blood cancers.
Persistent bloating : particularly in women, this can indicate ovarian cancer.
Unexplained weight loss : often linked to digestive or liver cancer.
Pains that should not be ignored
Pain is a powerful form of body language. But when it persists without apparent cause, it deserves special attention.
