Three convicts were on the way to prison.

Three convicts were being transported to prison, and each one was allowed to bring along a single item to help pass the time while locked up. As the bus rumbled down the road, one inmate turned to another and casually asked, “So, what did you bring with you?” The second man proudly pulled out a box of paints and explained that he planned to paint anything and everything he could get his hands on. With a confident smile, he added that he hoped to become the Grandma Moses of jail.

Curious, he then asked the first convict what he had chosen. The man grinned and revealed a deck of cards. “I brought cards,” he said cheerfully. “I can play poker, solitaire, gin rummy—pretty much any game you can think of.” The two laughed, clearly satisfied with their clever choices for surviving long days behind bars.

Meanwhile, the third convict sat quietly off to the side, wearing a smug little grin and saying nothing. His silence didn’t go unnoticed. After a moment, the other two finally asked him, “Why are you so happy? What did you bring?” Without hesitation, the man reached into his bag and pulled out a box of tampons, smiling even wider as he held it up.

The other two stared at him in total confusion. “What in the world can you do with those?” they asked. The man pointed to the writing on the box, nodded knowingly, and said, “It says right here—you can swim, hike, bike, run… basically do anything.”
