Paul Harrell, known for his gun expertise on YouTube, passed away from Stage 2 pancreatic cancer. In a poignant video titled “I’m Dead,” Harrell addressed his 1.14 million subscribers, saying, “If you’re watching me, I’m dead.” He recorded the video on December 20, 2023, as his cancer had progressed faster than expected.
Harrell’s brother Roy shared updates about Paul’s health and continued work on the channel. Roy revealed that Paul’s time was “getting incredibly short” and announced plans to keep the channel going in Paul’s style, potentially renaming it to “Paul and Roy Harrell.”
In the final videos, Harrell, who had been on crutches due to cancer spreading to his bones, shared memories of shooting at the range.
He expressed his regrets and gratitude, stating, “I had hoped that I would continue in this format for the next 10 or even 15 years.” His channel will continue as a legacy of his passion for firearms.
