Tom Homan: Ocasio-Cortez Could Face Charges For Assisting Illegal Migrants

Border czar Tom Homan suggested that U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) could face criminal charges for obstructing deportation efforts and aiding illegal immigrants.

On Tuesday, Ocasio-Cortez hosted an Instagram live webinar, “Know Your Rights,” advising illegal immigrants on how to “deal” with ICE. The session, featuring attorneys from the Immigrant Defense Project, emphasized that ICE raids are political tactics intended to instill fear.

In addition to the webinar, Ocasio-Cortez’s office is providing resources on ICE tactics and offering legal assistance. One flyer advises immigrants not to open their door to ICE agents without a valid warrant.

During a Fox News appearance, Homan questioned whether Ocasio-Cortez’s actions were obstructing law enforcement efforts and suggested she may face charges. He is working with the Department of Justice to assess if her actions crossed legal boundaries.
