In 2021, after battling both cancer and fertility challenges, Dr. Kelly Powers and her husband, Steve, joyfully welcomed their son, Bennett, via surrogate. Tragically, her cancer returned in 2024. Determined to continue her fight, she began raising funds to pursue an innovative treatment available exclusively in Germany.
Born in Yonkers, New York, Dr. Kelly Powers pursued her passion for medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, later completing her residency at Boston University School of Medicine. She went on to build a successful career as a surgeon, earning recognition for her expertise and dedication to patient care.
Dr. Powers expanded her reach as a regular cntributor to Fox News, appearing on the network’s Red Eye talk show and offering expert insights in segments on Fox Business. She frequently addressed pressing health concerns facing Americans, combining medical knowledge with a relatable and engaging presence.
