Upon further inspection, agents discovered an individual hidden inside, raising immediate concerns about human smuggling or trafficking.

Instead of complying with the agents’ orders, Dominguez abruptly reversed his vehicle, striking a Border Patrol agent before speeding away, sparking a high-speed pursuit. Aerial surveillance tracked the fleeing vehicle as two individuals bailed out and fled into an open field. One was later identified as an undocumented noncitizen from Honduras, further underscoring the seriousness of the incident.
